ok yee haaaaaw denny is gone, but check this out, they kept the following from his staff

1. Line coach Steve Loney
2. WR coach Mike Wilson
3. DL Larry Brooks
4. Asst Head coach? /Linebackers- Frank Bush
5. Defense Quality Control Rick Courtright
6. Cff.coor- Mike Kruzcek
7. and D. Coord Clancy Pendergast

Are you kidding me....wait let me scream it ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
the only one's that should have been retained are Pendergast, Bush and maybe, just maybe Wilson. Basically they kept the entire low wage earniong staff. They ket the water boy go to make it look good. The staff was part of the problem, no head coach can do it all himself. Even Pendergast is just a maybe keep. His overall defensive numbers are not great but he and his defense did an outstanding job against some of the best runners in the league, and we faced them all this year.

anybody know what a Defense quality control coach is? please inform us, I have never heard of that job.

So they have a short list of head coaches, the list is 6 deep. I hope every single one of them, as a collective group tells them that they must have the option to retain these guys, but it is their option not the cards!!!

This just smacks of the Cards organization and brain trust acting like the Cards.

Makes sense to me Jay. A new coach may or may not be able to fill all staff positions. Denny had a very hard time getting a staff together when he was hired. If it aint broke it dont need fixin.The coaching job on gameday was definitly busted and hopefully gets fixed.

I have never, ever seen a situation where the entire staff was held over from the previous coach. the reason that denny had a hard time getting a staff was the below industry wages the clan was offering!!!!

however, as i was running an errand today i caught a little bit of a live interview with graves and it seems that the staff may or not be retained, depending on what the new coach wants, i tried to call in but there would be no questions for graves from anyone but the hosts.

graves did talk about leonard davis, at first it sounded like they were going to keep him, then it turned to how much money he would get and it did not sound as positive!!! basically graves was making excuses for his lack of consistancy!!!!

you must be referring to the creme filled donuts that became so popular at the Tempe complex while denny was in charge. Yes, as wise as Rod is he saw that for a long time those donuts were a big hit with the bow tied one and the influence that a "free" donut could bring upon one's self!!!!

cause if you were referring to anything else, well it may get you banned and we are trying to ADD members, not subtract them!!!!
