really does anybody really care about this record? i for one dont....... and i think it is because of his personality as much as the steroids he took to get to this point in history!!!! mlb is as much to blame as the the players...not only did steroids do wonders for the players, it also did great things for the game when the game needed a "shot iin the arm" the most.
usually when something of this magnitude in any sports is about to unfold i am interested and tuning in.... for this i am tuning out!!!!

Bonds won't ever be known as "Mr Baseball", but maybe "Mr Asteric".
His record means nothing, as the world knows he was on 'roids. The only question left open is if he knew he was on 'roids. (I think there's no way he could NOT know!)
It's a non event, and even Bud Selig seems to be treating it that way.
Bonds should be a man and not a "'roided ego", admit he screwed up and retire today, with out actually breaking the record, IMHO.

the only people that think bonds isn't on the juice, are the same people that think the juice (OJ) didn't slice 2 throats. idiots!:mad:
great timing on this topic as roid head broke the record..... the powers that be have made reference to maybe something happening if he is found guilty...but really what could he be found guilty of that would take away the record? roids were not a banned substance when he was doing them!!!!
the record will stand.... no doubt..... and bb will not see the inside of a jail for fibbing to a grand jury!!!!!
and did you guys watch his celebration???? my thought was he did a great job of acting!!! there was very little genuine emotion , i mean HE JUST BROKE A RECORD THAT HAD BEEN HELD SINCE 1974 OR SO!!!!... he couldnt even generate a tear..even when he said his dads name..... look close.... no tear there either!!!!

Yep, Barry Bonds*(the spurs of baseball) I watched it but ONLY cause there really was not anything else on. For the few people that care about the record doesn't really matter A-Rod will break it in a few years anyway.

i wonder how bonds would feel if a-rod started taking roids and hit 64 dingers a year .... it would be 3 seasons from now that he breaks the record!!!!

Atleast he didn't have his pit bulls on 'roids for the big fight. But then again, if they had an NBA ref, the ref might not of cared, depending on where he had his money! :D
