Did I see the word "balance" used by Denny Green?
The Cardinals are heading back to St. Louis. No, they're not moving again, just playing the Rams on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. Arizona spent 28 seasons in St. Louis before moving to Arizona in 1988 and is playing the Rams on their home turf for the fifth time since realignment. Matt Leinart is coming off the best day ever by a rookie with 405 yards passing, but the key might come from the running game. The Cards have been looking for that elusive contest where the running of Edgerrin James and Co. controls the outcome. St. Louis is the perfect opponent to find this out. "This week, St. Louis, is a totally different game," head coach Dennis Green said. "St. Louis has played 11 games. They've given up 100 (rushing) yards in 10 of them. Hopefully we'll have balance this week."
it should be noted ( and I am taking an educated guess here) that the game that they did hold the opponet to under 100 was against the cards....i will look it up though!!!
balance!!!!! the nutty professors definition i am sure is much different than mine!!!!
70 % pass
30% run = balance!!!!!
i was so wrong!!!
28 rushes
101 yards and 1 td
3.6 average!!!
it would have been 104 yards but bryant johnson lost 3 yards on a reverse!!

ballance? is that why he stands 30 yards downfield from all the players? to ballance the sidelines?
the only problem with them trying to run a ballanced game, is they are too predictable. i hate to say it, but they need to try a few trick plays. what do they have to lose? i know the #1 pick.
The reality is that Green will be packing his office the day after the last game.
Will he give a darn about the remaining games? I think not. How about his assitants? Probably not....
The only way there will be more wins this season is if the team does it in spite of the coaching staff, IMHO...

Guys.. IMO Green is just waiting for this night-mare to end. I really doubt he is putting alot of thought into the game. Figure he is telling them just to go out and play have fun...
I really hate to see Coach Green end this way call me CRAZY but I feel sorry for him. Even though he brought most of the this on himself. I think he made major mistakes and just couldn't adjust to his own decisions.

I don't know what Fibwell is thinking ( other than $$$ ) If he thinks Denny is the coaching= to 'Dead Man Walking' he should cut him loose now. Maybe he thinks he still has a chance to run the table at 7-9 and still make the playoffs.

Dan: we both know the CArds move slow when making a decision. You heard old saying.. there so slow it would take them 3 days to run out of sight.
And I don't see them making a quick decision after their last game either.
But maybe that is the right thing to do.. ahhhhhhhhh maybe they will make the right choice this time.... ahhhhhhhhhh what I'm I saying here (((()))).

Unfortunately even if Denny gets the team to 7-9, he should be shown the door. The Cardinals have awesome skill players...Mike Martz maybe??
